GAZELLES HOT WEATHER POLICY FOR TRAINING

Any decision about training being cancelled will not be made until 5pm on Wednesday nights. Please do not contact the club before this time. Once a decision has been made a notice will be put on our facebook page and coaches will also be notified.

JUNIOR COMPETITION

When the expected maximum temperature is 37 degrees or higher as announced on the BOM website for Edinburgh at 4pm ALL matches will be CANCELLED.

When the temp is between 34 degrees and 36 degrees as announced on the BOM website for Edinburgh at 4pm matches will be delayed by 15 minutes.

Quarters will go back to 12 minute quarters for Juniors (15/U) and inters (u17). Drink breaks will be allowed but the clock is not to be stopped and no coaching is allowed.

 SENIOR COMPETITION

When the expected maximum temperature is 37 degrees or higher as announced on the BOM website for Edinburgh at 4pm ALL matches will be CANCELLED, EXCEPT FOR FINALS.

When temperature is between 34 degrees and 36 degrees at 4pm all matches will be reduced to 12 minute quarters. Drink breaks will be allowed but the clock is not to be stopped and no coaching is allowed.
